Bart Baldwin

Bart has over two decades of experience in public policy, lobbying and executive level management in the health care and human services fields. He started Bart Baldwin Consulting in 2013.

 

Previously Bart was an active member of the lobbying firm Bird Consulting Group. Prior to that he served as the President of the Children’s Alliance, representing child welfare agencies in Kentucky. Formerly, he was the National Director of Regional Public Policy for the Washington D.C. based Child Welfare League of America.

 

Prior to becoming involved in government affairs work, Bart was a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Kentucky for both profit and non-profit national corporations. He eventually went to work for the Kentucky Association of Health Care Facilities, a trade association for the long term care industry.

 

Bart graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree Health Care Management. He lives in Shelbyville with his wonderful wife Stephanie. They have two children, Harrison, a student at Belmont University in Nashville, and Kathleen, a student at Shelby County High School.

 

Sarah Kidder

Sarah Kidder brings over a decade of experience in public policy across state lines. She has spent the past six years working at the Legislative Research Commission in the Health and Welfare and Family Services Committee as a Legislative Committee Analyst where she focused on mental health, substance use, and disability policy.

 

Previously she held a policy fellowship at the University of Texas at Austin’s Hogg Foundation for Mental Health providing the Texas Legislature with research, expertise, and advocacy on behavioral health issues. She also worked for a Texas State Representative on health and human services policy.

 

Sarah graduated from Millsaps College with degrees in sociology, anthropology, and psychology and holds a Master’s degree in social work and social welfare policy from the University of Texas at Austin.

 

She lives in Lexington with her husband, Barry, and adorable son, Wilkes.
